12th October 2010. Two new species of birds -- Long-billed Wren Babbler and Grey-necked Bunting -- have been found in Nepal. With the discovery of the two new species, the number of bird species in Nepal has reached 867. According to Himalayan Nature, an international conservation research institute, Long-billed Wren Babbler, known as Rimator Malacoptilus, was first sighted in 1995.
